Trips in groups

For those interested, Apostolos and I organize 10-day trips in small groups, to my village Elika, also to visit the olive harvest. Apostolos is driven by the professional driver of our VIP-VANs and is my right hand in all trips

Travel plan

Everything is planned with care and protection for you when we go on the trip:

We travel only in small groups, i.e. up to max.9 people (with driver and escort)
We will stay in small hotels owned by family companies and therefore we will not come in contact with crowds of people
We are daily in nature, at the sea or in open ancient sites and not in closed rooms of museums.

Our trips continue to take place with respect to possible corona measures.

Nearby

Immediately nearby is Monemvasia, an intact medieval town from the Byzantine period. Behind the city walls are some 44 ancient churches, old mansions with unique architecture where the chimneys face north and the balconies face the sea.

Further south of Elika is the small, picturesque port town of Neapoli and further ahead is the island of Elafonissos, famous for its Caribbean turquoise beaches. Between Elafonissos and the mainland lies the sunken city of Pavlopetri. After intensive research, the age of the city is estimated to be about 5000 years, making it the oldest city of its kind known today.

About 80 km to the north, lies the capital of Laconia: Sparta. From the ancient powerful city of Sparta, very few remains can be seen. The Byzantine ruined city of Mystras , on the other hand, has a very great tourist importance.
